Sierra Family Association (SFA)

The purpose of the Sierra Family Association is to: All parents/guardians are automatic members of the SFA! Meetings are held on a regular basis. SFA has been involved in creating and participating in many school events throughout the year. Among them:

Sierra Family

  • grow a connected community through events and volunteering,
  • strive to be inclusive as possible and to enact a variety of family participation activities,
  • support every child, teacher, and staff member equally while having fun in service to our school, and
  • engage in the Sierra learning community through participation in accreditation events

SFA has volunteered their time and efforts toward our Friday Fun to Run program, where K-5 students and staff walk/run laps on our athletic field, promoting fitness and health. SFA provided the supervision, lap cards, ribbons and certificates to all participants.

SFA volunteers greeted and welcomed the audience to our Musical Production this past Spring.The SFA team was instrumental in gathering helpers to assist in Staff Appreciation Week activities. SFA sponsors a Back to School Picnic each August.
